The Slinger De-Icer is a suspended water-circulation system for protecting boats, dock pilings, boathouses, marinas, and other waterfront structures from damaging winter ice. It mounts with included heavy-duty nylon ropes, allowing flexible positioning around difficult dock and marina layouts.
By drawing warmer water from below the surface and directing it outward, the system creates continuous circulation that helps prevent ice formation. Its suspended design can be adjusted as water levels and site conditions change.
The ½ HP 115V configuration moves 400 gallons of water per minute across a flow distance of 50 feet. Its oil-free, stainless-steel submersible motor operates in fresh or salt water without routine maintenance.
