This configuration uses a ½-hp, 230-volt motor and includes a 70-foot, 12-gauge power cable. The motor draws 5 amps, while the official motor chart specifies a minimum anchoring weight of 25 pounds per anchor point.
The stainless-steel, oil-free, submersible motor requires no oil changes, routine maintenance, or separate control box. It is suitable for fresh or salt water and may remain installed during freezing conditions when switched off until the ice thaws.
