The Dock Mount De-Icer protects docks, boats, pilings, marinas, boathouses, and waterfront structures by continuously circulating warmer subsurface water upward. This water movement helps prevent damaging ice from forming around valuable waterfront equipment and structures.
The ⅓ HP 230V configuration moves approximately 300 gallons of water per minute and provides a 40-foot water-flow distance. Its mounting assembly can be adjusted to a depth of up to 7 feet for effective positioning below the surface.
The fully submersible motor uses an oil-free design and is built for continuous operation through severe winter conditions. It requires no routine maintenance, oil changes, or separate control box.
