The Slinger De-Icer is designed to help prevent damaging winter ice around boats, dock pilings, boathouses, marinas, and other waterfront structures. It suspends from a boat, piling, or dock using heavy-duty nylon ropes, allowing it to be positioned in locations where fixed mounting may not be practical.
The unit draws warmer water from beneath the surface and directs it outward in continuous movement. Its suspended installation can be adjusted as water levels change, making it suitable for hard-to-reach areas, large marina layouts, and changing waterfront conditions.
The ⅓ HP 115V configuration moves 300 gallons of water per minute across a flow distance of 40 feet. Its oil-free, fully submersible motor is designed for continuous operation in fresh or salt water without routine maintenance
